The Sign Says it All....

Yes, after nearly two years on the market, our "winter" home finally sold! We closed on the deal yesterday and turned the keys over to the new owners!

When we decided to move two years ago, we never dreamed it would take this long to sell! It is a lovely home in a great neighborhood. I guess it was waiting for just the right family. The new owners have two young children, so the house should be perfect for them. They were very excited about the house, so I hope they love it as much as we did!

A Life Out of Balance!

My life has certainly been out of balance this month! You know it's crazy when I am too tired or don't have the time to even post comments to other people's blogs. Hopefully things will start to get back to some sort of manageability soon. I started today with cleaning out my closet. That always helps...getting organized again. So look for some more posts soon!

No Laughing Matter

Our good friend, Patti, invited us and Gary and Dale, to attend a Fundraiser Event for the Wellness Community last evening at the Robert Irsay Party Pavillion. We were also joined by Patti's husband, Garry, and treated to yummy food catered by Bonefish Grill. There was a silent auction, a live auction, and raffles, but the main entertainment was a juggler/comedian/cancer-survivor, Scott Burton. He had the crowd practically in tears (from laughter) through his act. He is an amazing person and has a wonderful outlook on life. One of the amazing things he did was to balance a chair on his chin. While we all thought that was fantastic, he went one further by taking a long, cafeteria table, lifting it overhead, and balancing that on his chin! It was a great event - thanks, Patti and Garry, for inviting us!
