my cute new PJ's!
Ryan: Now Grandma, tell me why you keep
buying shirts for me that say things like "Trouble is
my middle name?" I'm only 2!
Finally bit the bullet, so to speak, and bought a new camera yesterday. I haven't had much time to play around with it, but I took it with me this morning when I was watching Reese and Ryan. I was awakened this morning by a phone call and a sweet little voice on the other end saying, "Grandma, can you come and watch me and my brother today? My Mommy and Daddy have to go to work and my Mommy wants to know if you can watch us?" Then Kristy got on the phone and explained that she had received a call at 5:30 am from her sitter, who said her kids were sick. So Kristy had to institute "Plan B." As every working mom knows, you have to have a Plan A, B, C, and even a D sometimes! Obviously, Miss Tonya is Plan A, I guess we are Plan B,Plan C is usually Kristy or Joel has to stay home and in a real pinch -although Kelly has her hands really full with her two kids right now - Kelly is probably Plan D (sorry, Kelly, did you know that??? Tee hee! So if Kristy asks, you know she is really deseperate!) Now girls, I don't want to start any fights here and honestly, Kristy has never said anything about her alternative strategies...so I guess this is all of my assuming (and we all know where that gets you....)
Anyway, Reese and Ryan were good this morning. Ryan was actually tired and crawled up on the sofa and slept for about 45 minutes! I did get to try out my new camera, too!
Yesterday, I took Grace with me and we ran errands. She was also very good for me, which I am sure her Mommy will be delighted to hear! Hopefully when it warms up a little, we will be able to do more!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!! I really didn't want to call and wake you up--"I felt really bad about it," as Reese has once said. :) So when I was explaining to Reese about Tanya's kids being sick and that I was going to call you, I jumped at her offer to call you herself. :)
I realize I am so fortunate to have family nearby. You have bailed me out severatl times over the years, and I really appreciate it! Don't worry--I'm making mental notes of this and will pay you back someday when it's time for you to come live with us. Ha!
Cute pictures, by the way! I think the color looks much better w/ this camera, don't you think?
WHAT?! I'm the backup to the backup to the backup? What is that about? :) Just kidding. I would be happy to watch R and R anytime! They are super-easy and entertain my kids.
Mom, I think your new camera takes great pictures! Do you like it so far?
Thanks for taking Grace yesterday. She really likes to get out. Tonight after her bath she wanted to go to the store. Poor thing, I think she just wants to get out of the house (I can relate!). I really appreciate you taking her, and she does, too! :)
One more thing- two posts in two days! I'm impressed! Now that you have your new camera there are no excuses...right? :)
Hip Hip Horray! I'm glad you got a new camera, I know you just feel lost without one. I can't imagine life without my camera! Isn't it nice to get that phone call from your grandkids, how coiuld you ever say no to that (good job Kristy - smart thinking having Reese call). It's so nice that you get to spend that time with the grandkids!
