I don't know how I can possibly have a daughter who is 32 years old! It seems like only yesterday - or maybe the day before - that I was in my 30's. When you have little ones, some days seem to go on and on...especially when they are sick or worse yet, when mommy is sick! However, when you look back, it seems like that period of life has gone by way too fast. I guess that is why you savor each moment with the grandkids...it is a way of also getting back your lost youth, too.
I posted this picture of you and me, taken in July 1978, just a couple of days before Kristy was born. We had taken you to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, so if you look closely, you can see animals in the background.
Kelly, you are a wonderful daughter and an outstanding mother to your own two little girls. Enjoy each day with your girls...even when Gracie colors on your sofa, or gets into your makeup... I hope you have a very, Happy Birthday!!!

Linda, this is so sweet! Your closeness with your daughters is so special. I think moms need to be celebrated on their children's birthdays, too. So...Happy Kelly's-Birthday to you! (How were you feeling 32 years ago today?)
Awwww....this is sweet! I expect a similar post on my birthday, although will there be any pictures of just you and me when I was little? (Ha! J/K.)
I agree with Heather - you, too, deserve celebration. Um, I don't know too many expectant moms who would take their 2 year olds to the zoo a few days before giving birth...in the summer!
<3 ya!
I remember those days. It can't possibly have been 32 years ago. I was just a baby myself!! (ha, ha) What you wrote is so true. Time flies by so quickly and it's hard to savor each moment with your children. Especially when you're sick, they're fighting, the husband's working... Ah, the good old days!! :) Happy Kelly's Birthday to you, too!!
Thanks, Mom! I TRY to enjoy every moment! Like Deb said, it is hard to savor every minute! And Deb, you WERE a baby!!!! :) I am lucky to have such a great Mom and Dad who STILL continue to take care of me today. Thanks for the lunch, and for the pictures you took of me by myself, and the thousand dollars you gave me for my birthday- just kidding, Kristy and Holly. It was only $500. Seriously, though, I love you very much!
